(I’m rounding numbers now)
Global Cases: up 11 percent, or 42,300, to 469,000.
Global Deaths: up 12 percent, or 2,300, to 21,200.
Global Recoveries: Up 5 percent, or 5,300, to 114,000.
Global Unresolved: up 13 percent, or 38,600, to 333,500.
The proportion of Deaths reached its highest level to date, at 5 percent.
US Cases: up 20.5 percent, or 11,250, to 66,000.
US Deaths: up 22 percent, or 169, to 944.
US Recoveries: up 4.2 percent, or 16, to 394.
US Unresolved: up 20.6 percent, or 11,055, to 64,700.
The 7-day rolling average growth rate of US Deaths is 31.4 percent. This rate is associated with exponential growth.
At this rate, the number of deaths will double in fewer than three days. From the 944 deaths recorded as of today, if the rate of growth stays at its current level, the US will see 1.4 million deaths in 28 days.
