Global Cases: up 8.8 percent, or 65,200, to 722,000. This is the slowest rate of growth since March 16, and represents the fourth day in a row of a decreasing growth rate.
Global Deaths: up 10 percent, or 3,100, to 34,000. This is also the slowest rate of growth since March 16.
Global Recoveries: up 6.4 percent, or 9,100, to 151,300.
Global Unresolved: up 9.4 percent, or 46,000, to 536,625,
US Cases: up 14.75 percent, or 18,250, to 142,000. This is the lowest rate of growth since March 1, when the US had only 75 cases.
US Deaths: up 11.5 percent, or 257, to 2,484. This is the lowest rate of growth since March 12, when the US had 41 deaths.
US Recoveries: up 41 percent, or 1,330, to 4,560.
US Unresolved: up 14.1 percent, or 16,670, to 135,000. This is the lowest rate of growth since March 1.
Today’s figures suggest the possibility of an inflection point in both the Global and US data, but it is too soon to tell. It is possible that there is simply a delay in the reporting of the data. Time will tell.
